"Black and White Sassy Style" Contest
 

Helga says: Somerset Studio's upcoming theme is black and white. So, I thought it would be excellent to have a black and white contest using our new Sassy Style collage sheet and transparency. This way, you can participate in our contest AND submit your artwork to Somerset Studio. Keep in mind that if your artwork is published and ARTchix Studio is mentioned as a source, we'll send you 3 free sheets of your choice. So, it's possible for everyone to be a winner in this contest!

What to make: Anything you'd like (collage, jewelry, DreamBox, quilt, etc.) as long as it's black and white.

Required ARTchix products: At least 1 image from our Sassy Style collage sheet and/ or Sassy Style transparency sheet. Don't miss our black and white shop by theme pages for more fun goodies to add to your pieces.

Helga says: While making inchies (1" square collages), a few artists asked if we could make 2" collages in the future. Pretty soon, our YahooGroup nicknamed them "twinchies" and that's how the name was born. : )

I made my first twinchie on the left and really enjoyed playing with this size. It's small but not too small like the inchies. Phew!

When all of the swap artwork has been received, I’ll be selecting my favorites to create a collection of fabulous collage sheets and one winner will win a $100 gift certificate to our online shop! Hooray! So please send us your best artwork.

What to make: 6 Twinchies (2" square collages) with our Spoil Me Collage Sheet. Original artwork only please, no photocopies. You may also want get our 2" Watercolor Paper Squares to make your life oh so much easier.

Required ARTchix products: At least 1 ARTchix image on each twinchie collage from our Spoil Me Collage Sheet or Transparency.

What you will receive:
* 6 Twinchies from other talented artists

Helga says: Remember being in grade school and getting fun Valentines with little treats from your classmates? I thought it would be so much if we recreated this idea ARTchix style. So, let's each make 6 heart -shaped Valentines for our fellow chixies and include a little treat and note with each one. Treat ideas: bits of ephemera, small candies, favorite tea, little charms, etc.
