Print and
cut out shrine template above ( size is
approx. 6 3/32" x 4 1/16"
or 16 x 10,5 cm) and trace onto cardstock or
thin cardboard (a cereal box is perfect). Cut out. Score
both creases with bone folder and fold panels over once (for easier
standing up).
Front of shrine
Tear strips
of vintage text paper and glue onto one side of
shrine. Make strips extra long so that you can fold them over and glue to
the back of the shrine.
Paint text
with burnt umber Dye-na-flow, walnut ink and gold Lumiere paint (or use
any other paint available). Stamp Acey Deucy spiral rubber stamp
with gold ink onto text. Tear a strip
of decorative paper and attach to bottom of shrine. Cut out
images from Merry Christmas and Holiday Angels Collage
Sheets. Attach
Gold Paper Wings to collage images with carpet
tape or glue. Glue all
collage images onto shrine.
Attach
Mini Star Charms and Embossed
Star Charms with
needle and thread. Use pliers to push and pull
needle through cardstock if necessary. Tie knot
and seal tight with a tiny drop of Diamond
Glaze or glue. Glue Brass Gears onto bottom of
shrine with Diamond Glaze or 3-d glue.
You can also sew them on for an extra decorative effect. Attach
Gold Large Renaissance
Border at the top of the shrine
with small strip of carpet tape or Tacky Glue.
Back of shrine
Trace shrine onto decorative paper, cut out and attach to back of shrine. Tear off strip of vintage text, paint with gold Lumiere paint and glue
onto bottom of shrine. Cut out images from Merry Christmas Collage
Sheet and glue to the panels. Stamp “Merry Christmas” with black ink onto
middle panel. Attach star stickers.
Finishing Touches
Punch holes into sides and attach eyelets. Tie with Hand Dyed
Ribbon - Copper Canyon. Sew on “Made with Love”
Tag.
Attach
Gold
Paper Stars
on back and front with carpet tape
or Tacky Glue.
Glue on rhinestones with
Diamond
Glaze
or 3-d glue.
