Free Class: Scrabble Tile Charms by Heather Rowley

Class Description
Charms are very popular right now for swaps and trades. These little scrabble tile charms are super easy to make… and addicting! This is a great beginner project. You can make bunches of them in no time!
 
ARTchix Studio Supplies General Supplies and Tools  
Fairy Post faux postage Scrabble Tiles  
Royal Post faux postage Pencil  
  Scissors  
  Drill with tiny drill bit  
  Jump Rings  
  Assorted charms or dangle beads (beads on looped head pin)  
  Diamond Glaze or other liquid embosser (if desired)  
Instructions
1. Cut out your desired stamp from the faux postage sheet. Peel off the backing of the stamp to expose the sticky part. Then position the back of the scrabble tile onto the adhesive, so the part of the image that you want will be on the tile. Press firmly. Trim extra paper from edges.

2. Using a drill with a tiny drill bit, gently drill a hole through the top of the tile. This is best done on a piece of scrap wood, so you don’t damage your work surface.

3. OPTIONAL: Apply diamond glaze to the image for a glassy look. Be sure to not get the liquid in the hole you just drilled! Let dry completely.

4. Open jump ring and add desired charms or beads. Attach jump ring to tile through the drilled hole.

That’s all it takes to make these simple and fun charms!
