The Rules
Your published artwork MUST mention ARTchix Studio as a source in the magazine or book. We must receive your art scans and text mentioning ARTchix Studio as a source within 3 months of the magazine's published date. All magazines and books are eligible for this offer. You are limited to 3 free sheets per magazine issue or book.
How to Get your Free Sheets
Email us the following: 1. A scan of your published artwork 2. A scan of the published text that mentions ARTchix Studio as a source. 3. Your desired list of 3 sheets: pick from collage sheets, transparency sheets or faux postage sheets (your choice). 4. Your full name and mailing address.
Our Desired File Format
JPEG/jpg file 72 dpi PC format 500 pixels at tallest or widest point White background preferred Please do NOT put any spaces, dashes or punctuation in your file name Name your file like this: FirstNameLastName_ MagazineNameDate (For example: HelgaStrauss_SomersetStudioJanFeb2009.jpg)
A Free and Easy Way to Resize Your Files
A free and easy program to use is IrfanView. You can download it at http://www.irfanview.com/ Once you've installed IrfanView: Open your image using IrfanView Select Image -> Resize/Resample From the Resize/Resample dialog box: Select "set new size" Set your height or width to a maximum of 500 pixels Set DPI to 72 Click OK Then select File -> Save As to open the save dialog box: Choose a "save quality" of 40 Save as a progressive JPG
